They have a drag cap over the entire gear area which is not sealed nor is it open. So salt can get in but cant get out unless you take the cap off and clean it EVERY time...which i do, before I spray it with cleaner.

Any suggestions?

Also,
Im going to get an opportunity to float the middle fork of the salmon river this summer so I'm prob. going to be looking at a 4wt or so. Got any pictures of yours? Ever do any combo deals?

Thanks,
CFM
I'll look for a schematic of that reel online. I am curious if that chessy cover can just be left off and coated with a healthy dose of bearing grease? I'll see what I can find.

Funny you asked about the combo deals. I just picked up like 100 packs of different line today. Lots of people have been asking for this. Matter of fact I am sending out a 6 and an 8 weight combo express tomorrow moring ready to fish for some folks fishing next week in a river in eastern Oregon.

PM about the 4# combo. Not sure that is the right setup for that river. When I guided in Colorado (In another life) I primarily used a 6 weight. Bigger fish and bigger water.

Tight lines, Bob

Oh yeah, I'll try to get some pics done in the next couple days. Tough to take pictures of rods though.

Also I tell everyone that is interested in any of my toys this: If you are interested just buy it. I'll ship it to you. If you don't like it for any reason at all send it back for a full refund no questions asked. I don't want even one person out there unhappy with anything I make.
