Nahhh, i am a very mild mannered person, i just like pulling the trigger.

gonna sell some of my extra ammo to fund another 1000 yd custom. my competition gun groups have gotten loose the last three matches. think my barrel is going south . i am also looking for another remington 40 xb in 22-250 or 6mm for benchrest shooting will consider trades.

ammo is sold except for the flechettes 12 gauge shells which i have decided to keep. have a good line on some .50 bmg soft pulls, will know monday if anyone is interested. may do a group buy-in. supposedly they are high quality. have a friend investigating it tomorrow.

thre is a ton of surplus ammo out there right now, you really gotta watch what you get, alot of stuff from south africa has been depleted, and the stuff now is afghanistan/ south american which tends to be corrosive primed.
    we will see what happens.

here's a video of a .50 BMG... interesting and lucky to say the least:

On the .223, I would only be interested in brass, not that green/gray lacquered crap.

galazio, nothing but brass in my guns, no buildup allowed.

i believe that was a .50 Beowulf cartridge instead of the .50 BMG. but then again, it may not have been. the free recoil doesn't appear right, and the velocity is a little low considering.
