Hey Joe,

Sorry I missed your reply. It was just brought to my attention by one of my customers. Your post is somewhat jumbled. I do get that you do not believe that I have sold that many boats in 90 days. Fine for you to believe that if it helps you sleep better at night. My customers can tell you different. I don't know what you spent $350,000.00 That is pretty much impossible unless you are printing ads on $1000 dollar bills and dropped them from a helicopter. I am guessing that is what you spent all last year on everything inculding the rent. The main difference is that I have boats listed all over the country. You have one physical location and what ever boats you have there. It's tough to do the volume that I do that way. Don't forget I am not just some clown that decided to sell boats. I have been working in the marine industry for 18 years. Mostly manufacturer and dealers consulting now. But I did what you do for a long time. I learned a lot along the way. I also have very good overseas connections. They took years to grow.

Not very nice to jump on someone elses thread and call them a liar. I am guessing you made this post after a couple cocktails? I would not jump onto one of your threads and do this. Matter of fact I was just telling someone a couple days ago that Cardinal was one of the "Good" dealers in NJ and to feel safe working with you. Don't make me eat my own words now...

This is cut right from your site:

In addition, the high tourist and local boating populations during the summer months make our marina the most desirable place to display your boat.We advertise our brokerage boats on our Website and other sites such as Yacht World, Boat Trader along with others, we will also list your boat in major publications: The Salty Dog and Boat Shopper, among others.

In addition, company exposure and internet address with links are provided through local newspapers and major magazines. Upon arrival, we create a specification sheet on your boat, which is supplied to our customers.Your boat's photograph and information is on display at every boat show we attend.

There is no way you spent 350K on advertising if this is what you use. This is not anywhere close to the exposure I give my customers and I don't charge a commission! You are wasting your money on paper print by the way.

Thanks for calling me a liar though

Tight lines, Bob Filger
