BROKER YOUR OWN BOAT (Saying Hello)

    Hey Guys,

I recognize a few names here already. For those of you I don't know I just wanted to say hello and give you a little rundown on what my service is all about.

My name is Bob Filger and I own www.anglersedgemarine.com

This is my creation after almost two decades working in the marine industry. I built this service for the guy doing the "For sale by owner" thing with their boats.

It's is my stong feeling that you don't need a broker...You just need a buyer. I also believe that nobody knows your boat better than you do. So who better to talk to the buyers. Save yourself the commission and the contracts. You simply don't need them.

I encourage you guys with questions to call and ask. 570-832-4362 office

Here you go. Cut and pasted from my website:

    BROKER YOUR OWN BOAT SPECIAL!!

For a limited time all members of the below listed fishing/boating websites can take advantage of an unbelievable resource to sell their boat.

    Eligible Websites

    Ncwaterman.com
    theburningreel.com
    Noreast.com
    Thehulltruth.com
    Thebassbarn.com
    Striped-bass.com
    Sportfisherman.com
    Reel-time.com
    bhweb.com

For a one time flat fee of $199.00 your boat will be featured on the following websites:

    Boattraderonline.com
    Boats.com
    iboats.com
    Usedboats.com
    Thesaltydog.com
    Boat-world.com
    Anglersedgemarine.com
    Yachtbroker.com
    Boatquest.com
    Boatclassifieds.us
    boatsville.com
    123usedboats.com
    usedboatfinder.com
    boatingbay.com
    boatempire.com(comming soon)
    boatgloat.com(comming soon)
Plus search optimization within 26 websites
    And more to come!!!

There will be no commission charged! Just the flat $199.00 Your boat will be listed for as long as it takes to sell. Listings include a detailed description of your choice and up to 12 pictures. You still sell your boat. I just bring the buyers to you. All emails and phone calls will come to you. If any should slip through to me, I forward them to you. If you want my advice on how to list the boat, there is no extra charge for that either. If you want to adjust your listing price or make a description change all you have to do is give me a call or send me an email.

This service gives you all the resources that a broker uses to sell your boat without having to pay a big commission. I am a firm believer that nobody knows your boat better than you do! So who better to be talking to the buyer?

It’s a fact that 95% of potential boat buyers do their homework online before actually purchasing their boat. As for the other 5% I’m guessing that they don’t own a computer or simply don’t know how to use one.

TO GET YOUR BOAT LISTED CALL: 570.832.4362

    Tight lines,

    Robert C. Filger

    Owner

    Bob,

Great Site and idea for sellers..

I went to college at East Stroudsburg Univ back in the early 80's.

Spent many a days drifting Shad Darts under the Dingman's Ferry Bridge and chasing turkey's over on the NJ side.

I take it the old bridge is still there crossing the Del river and their still collecting the tolls.

It was my understanding that that was the only privately owned bridge crossing the De river.

They use to have a guy standing there with a plastic bucket to collect your toll as you'd cross the bridge.

    Hey Ed,

Thanks for the welcome. You do know this area pretty well.

Yep, they still have a guy with a plastic bucket at the Dingmans Bridge.

I believe that it is the last privately owned toll bridge in the country but I could be wrong about that.

Stroudsburg is only a about 10 miles from my homestead. They still have that HUGE flea market every weekend as well.

Have'nt wet a line in freshwater in some years but you'll still see a bunch of tim boats sitting under the bridge with darts out.

Look forward you getting to know you on here!

    Tight lines, Bob

    Hey Carl,

    thanks for the kind words.

Give me a call if you see this soon. The guy with the other Albie accepted the offer. Need to know if you will as well. I do think there is a better chance that they will go with your boat because they have already sea trialed it.

Bob the lowest we can go is what Domitrious was willing to buy it for...it's a great rig...nothing wrong with it...I only need to get in there and scrub her up since it hasn't been used in a while...so the price Domitrious was buying it for is the lowest we can go...since it's as far under our payoff as we can afford.
