I thought I would point out this Phoenix has the optional aux fuel tanks that bring the total to just under 300gals. On our one trip offshore this year we burned 150 gal. That was a run out of 2.5 hours at 23kts and a run back in of 2.5 hours at 23kts and trolling for 6 hours.
For the guys that have been asking about the fuel burn. The only controled fuel burn I have is the trip offshore we did last summer. The boat was loaded to the max, 4 guys & all their gear, full tanks(290gals of fuel & 25gals of water) 2 big coolers and the fish box full of ice. We ran at 23kts for a total of 5 hours and trolled 6-7kts for 6-7 hours. On return to the dock, I filled the main tanks back up that we had be using all day and they took 75gals each. We never touched the aux tanks of 70gals which was about 470 pounds of usless weight. I have since burned off the fuel in those aux tanks and the boat picked up 2kts at cruise. Thanks you for your interest.
John....great seeing you yesterday at the Judge Yachts Open House. Good luck selling the Phoenix, that is a great boat! She should not be hard to sell. If you ever make it down to the Keys stop in at Mile Marker 85.5 and say hi.
