Teaser Special You Cannot Pass Up
All Right folks this one will only be up for a little while. In honor of the first Blue Marlin of the year caught off of NC last week I am putting 12 Inch Mauler Teaser Chains on Special. I started thinking I should knock off a few bucks and see if I can sell some. But then I thought, Everybody has at least 2 outriggers so why not have a two for one deal. This week I am putting our 12 Inch Mauler Teaser Chain on 50% Special. Thats right, buy one get one free. Check it out on http://www.squidnation.com They are in the Daisy Chain section under Droppers. I have them available in the following 3 colors. So Instead of the normal $39.99 each they are $20.00 each. So if you only need one you can only order one, but why not have a matching set.
Here are the colors I have available for the sale. Killer Pink Ballyhoo Blue Natural ![]() Last edited by Squidnation; 03-19-2006 at 06:43 PM. |

Here is a stupid question for ya.. when you guys are running these as teasers off the riggers, are you running them off a rod/reel? I remember in Wahoo's video about rigging the rasta chain he talked about having his crew pull in the chartreuse teaser line, but I couldn't figure out if they were handlining it in, or cranking a teaser reel.

Tom - I peronally run them off of teaser reels. I don't know what size boat you have or what type of outriggers but if it is a small boat you can hose clamp some old senators to your outriggers. shoot me a PM or give me a call if you need help settin up the teaser reels.

If I remmber right
the teaser lines on the Run off come down off the bridge and are part of the chart. line to the gunnel and then right back up to the rigger end and out to the water. When he was saying then was you pull the section from the bridge (by hand) to the gunnel (chart) and it keeps from having to pull the whole teaser line in. It actually pulls the teaser closer to the boatside and inward which is a little bit easier then the Captain having to reel in the entire rig by doing it this way. Also could pull targets in close that are following the teaser so you pick them off with a pitch rig. Be sure and keep skirts on those teaser line connections to keep from hanging grass.
