well I just got that info passed on to me from avet I have been hounding them for the last three mos about developing a mag control system for their reels I lov them but they need mag control !! I have 4 2 sx's and 2 mxl's and now looking at maybe something larger not shure what yet and thanks for the invite will give them acall and see if they will chime in

Guys ,straight up my sponsor for my guide service is the Nothwest distributor for avet reels, their is no such thing as a deal no matter where you buy them or from who you buy them it is a set price we get a % of $ from sales and have to sell them at list it is kind of how the program works if you need information about avet reels here is a contact #425-269-1925 his name is Jim Mercier he can get you anything you want at distributor cost. As far as service goes if you have a problem with a reel send it in and usually the fix and turn around time is about a week if you need info on where to send it Jim can give you that info!!!PEACE

I second that Marty,keep the negativity to yourself we don't need it here, and just a tidbit that I know from our local tackle shops. Yes they sell certain products at preset prices because thats the rules but that doesn't stop our locals from offering gift certificates when you buy one of said products at set pricing IE: Penn/Avet/ St Croix and so on. Factory sets the price Sellars decide how much of the profit to put in there pocket or how much they want to discount other items to offset the Bullsheat rules of manufacturers.
