Thanks guys for doing this by PM. Just trying to help my friends out on this one. So many have helped me on other matters. Even got to hunt in MD with Often. It was a blast. A lot of you are wanting Avet reels. We will plan on the first order going in about Jan. 25 and I will try to do another about Feb. 10 so you can make plans. Reels should get to you real fast after the order is in.

How easily can you order parts with Avet? I heard they do not have as good a parts program as some of the bigger names.

I just do this mostly for the guys here. I haven't had no problem with parts yet but only have limited experience.

Guys ,straight up my sponsor for my guide service is the Nothwest distributor for avet reels, their is no such thing as a deal no matter where you buy them or from who you buy them it is a set price we get a % of $ from sales and have to sell them at list it is kind of how the program works if you need information about avet reels here is a contact #425-269-1925 his name is Jim Mercier he can get you anything you want at distributor cost. As far as service goes if you have a problem with a reel send it in and usually the fix and turn around time is about a week if you need info on where to send it Jim can give you that info!!!PEACE

A little info on avets I inquried about them magging the reels for cast control and this the answer .............. I thought you might be interested in knowing that we actually have two distributors on the east coast. G&B Fishing is the 1st one and their number is
(732) 566-4812 and the 2nd one is Gulfstream Fishing and their number is (888) 334-4554. I think it would benefit you more to stay in contact with either
one of our distributors, as they are usually the first to receive any new product. However you are more than welcome to check in with us from time to time to check the status of these reels.

Govenor, great to have you on board. I see you became a member on SFC yesterday and made your first post here. Maybe you would want to invite G&B and Gulfstream to come and join us here. They could start a new thread and talk about there Avet deals. This site is a great honor to be a part of. No negativity or bashing here. Just a bunch of guys and gals here who work to help each other with fishing, charity and a lot of knowledge.
