Ok, Last year I bought a dozen of these thru a Katrina Auction site to help those in the LA fishing community. Obviously I do not need a dozen so this is what I'd like to do with them:



I enjoy swapping /trading things so here goes, anyone that sends offshore fishing equipment/lures/line/etc to trade for one, let say about $25-30.00 worth then I'll send you one of these in trade. I'll do this for up to six De-hookers. Items could be chains/sea witches/ you've made or extra laying around. Save $30-35.00 over buying it at the website.

For the other six I have, send $35.00 to John or Marty for further Katrina relief, and when they tell me you have, I'll send you one of the De-hookers including shipping.

For the trade items you do not have to tell me what it/they are, I trust you, be like xmas for me, include return address and I'll return you a new De-hooker.

Please post here that your doing the trade or the Katrina help so I can keep track of the dozen items.

Thanks for 2, I will give one to a friend. I hope you will try the clipper I sent. These were made by a friend of mine in the Aerospace parts manufacturing business. They are laser cut from solid stock. They don't leave a burr on heavy mono so inserting it into a crimp is no problem. They cut everything but wire. He doesn't make them anymore, but I bought a bunch and gave them out to my friends. This one was left on my boat by ??, so his loss, your gain.
The long DeHookers look like the perfect tool to release those pesky Baracuda
