2000 RPM 10.2 MPH 5.9 GPH 3000 RPM 24.7 MPH 11.9 GPH 4000 RPM 36.5 MPH 19.7 GPH 4400 RPM 41.7 MPH 30.6 GPH I'm toting around a 3 yr. old, so I moved up to a bigger cabin.. Mike |

I love your Abemarle~ she always been a great lakes boat? Gosh, it's a small world....looks like you're docked in Sodus Pt? Out in front of Papa Joe's restaurant?? Man!! I fished there for 10 yrs - late 80's- through 90's with my, now, late father....I live up in Maine now...but my Dad was from NJ- he spent a solid month @ Sodus in the spring and a month running out of the Stutson St bridge @ Genn River in the fall His boat was all rigged with 4 Big Jon Captn's just like yours and the planer tower in the bow One of his long time buddies was Ed Dorscheid- who ran "C-Frog" a 31' Baja Cruiser..... Not sure if these names ring any bells with you. Anyway- thanks for sparking some great memories!

Yep that's the place. Directly across from Papa Joes is a place called Captain Jacks, two buildings down is a place now called Abes Waterfront Restaurant and Bar, this is where the Albe sits. Abes used to be called,"the wave" and some other names I don't remember, huge deck, lower and upper with bars everywhere with tons of people laughing at you when you screw up a landing. Great place.... Glad to bring back some memories.. Mike |
