Came off reservation in SC, they put 33,000 miles on it, it now has 50,000. It was stock, I added the lift. 4" Pro-comp lift, used 33" tires w/ extra set of used 33" Pro-comps, transfer case drop, tuffy center consol box, original hardtop, metal doors, soft top frame w/ full soft doors(canvas is bad). 6 cyl. engine w/ aluminum valve cover runs good. $5200 obo. Raleigh NC.
NICE JEEP BREEL, I'VE HAD SEVERAL 80-84 CJ-7'S, I USED TO RE-BUILD THEM FROM THE GROUND UP! NEW TUB, FRONT ENDS THE WHOLE WORKS...IT GETS EXPENSIVE. GOOD LUCK SELLING IT! I'D LIKE TO GET IT, BUT THATS OUT OF MY PRICE RANGE. TOM
Not interested but I used to own a 77' CJ 7 (777) and the jeeps of that time were notorius for the floor rotting out from under you. Lost my tailgate going around a corner once.....lol.
How are the floors on this bear? Any pics?
Also, you may wish to become a regular poster before putting things up for sale on this board. It helps when people get to know you better.
I've toyed around with getting BACK into CJ's lol....but I dunno.
I have had about 6, from '76 thru '80-something? LOL So many I don't remember, CJ-5's and CJ-7's.
My favorite was my '77 with Fiberglass body and fenders, steel hood. I built the 258 with a mild cam, 4-BBL (Holley 390), and true Dual Exhaust Headers with custom pipes out the rear corners. Sounded/drove like a 350. Clifford parts in that build.
Anyway, maybe if this CJ were closer I may be more convinced......
