80w on a trolling rod

buddy of mine gave me a bunch of stuff-he has never used...this is too big for me...it's new-never used both the rod and the reel...older style 2 piece frame,excellent as new condition....$500

CUT THE ROD DOWN TO 48 TOTAL LENTGH...ADD A SWIVEL TIP FOR 62 BUCKS AND SOMEONE HAS A PLANER ROD!!!! GREAT DEAL THOUGH

penn international...it's the older 2 piece frame-it has never been used....

I would really really really like to pick up this rod and reel, it is a bargain... but I already broke down and bought outriggers this year (another great deal, Thanks SharkJP) and trying to squeeze out another $500 is like getting blood from a turnip. You boys better scoop this up before I break my kids piggy bank or try to take a job at Taco King ( I applied but was "over qualified... maybe they thought I'd eat the profits?

I am still trying to come up with it and will scoop thi sup if at all possible so you better be quick if you want to beat me to it. I definately need this rig in my spread. I got spooled last week, 480 yards to tuff line fishing for the elusive Pacific BFT. I think I finally got bit, now I need to get serious and gear up for success.
