Better than new!

This is a very good price as a new OI will drain Ya' to the tune of almost 600K if Ya' were to rig Her like this one. That's if You can still get a new one!

To think you could get into a boat like this for what some are paying for a big triple-engine O/B express....
NO COMPARISON!!
Sweet rig, Marlineer.

This is my DREAM BOAT!!!!! I have talked to Jim at the AC in the water boat show. I just found out that another boat Sea Tek/Seaview 36 was the old 36 Out Island. I was looking at their booth at the AC boat show and said what a nice Out Island. He corrected me and gave me some history between the two. In the Ouit Island they are putting in the 500hp because they are electrical and can pass emmision tests. The 450hp were mechanical and could not. My question is....What is the performance and speed difference between the two engines.

Thanks!

Thanks for all the bumps Guy's. This One is specail to Me! The power in this boat is a pair of 480"s. Although They are not full electronic motors w/common rail injection, They are still electronically injected, intercooled turbocharged Bullies. You will see about a consumption of about 32 GPH combined at 31kts(2275 RPM's) with this set-up. Roll Her back to 24-26 kts and You're in heaven. I never really saw much of an increase in speed in a boat I sold with 540's. She was only 2 kts better at cruise and 1 kt top end., however the boat was very stingy on fuel.

Marlineer, so does the seatek have the engine space problems the old outisland 36 had? i thought they looked alike but didnt know there was any history between the two... seatek prolly fixed any old problems though before continuing production

Not sure....

I have not been on the new ST. I do know that with the extra 2', I can get 360 around both motors and have engine room storage as well. I don't think the engines in the Sea Tek could possibly be as/more accessible. I do know the SeaTek that I saw In WPB last spring was real nice and the finish was exceptional.
