I am selling My rig and going bigger. The Banshee is a 1970 36 Hatteras Convertible. New paint, Icey blue hull with Oyster White every where else, Awlgrip. New power in 2001, 330 B Cummins, 1300 Hours, 1 year of warranty left, New gears Twin Disc. New rudders 2006, New genset , 2001.

Other than not being able to use bad weather as an excuse to stay at the dock - not a damn thing!

I know JW from the Hatteras Owners Forum. I've been fishing 'older Hatts' for the last 22 years. Our most recent for the last 12 seasons. She's a tank. We've chosen to go on some real snotty days when a lot of the 60 footers would lay. Not necessarily the smartest thing but when you're a weekend warrior you gotta go when you can.

So in my opinion there ain't much I can find wrong with an older Hatt (one of the original 'Carolina Boats'). And cetainly nothing with the BANSHEE!

Yes Those are the Tom Slane vents!!! I did the install myself as well as the paint. I painted the insise of them dark Blue, and the outside Icey Blue to match the Hull color. I can tell you that I spent about a week filling and fairing the vents, before the primer went on. They really do look sexy and let the engines breathe.
I am moving up to a 45 to 50 foot custom carolina something. I have my eye on on one , but I have to sell my rig to move up. It is fish ready and rigged and full of fuel, as a matter of fact I think I have a charter on Thursday. The a little tire kicking at the Annapolis boatshow on Friday.
