3 Star Handcrafted 30/80's and 1 Penn 2155 Int Tuna Stick

    Guys,
I have 4 rods for sale, 3 Star Handcrafted 30/80’s and one Penn 2155 International Tuna Stick. Let me describe each of them as accurately and as fairly as I can.

    1. The first Star Handcrafted 30/80 (Power Butt, metal gimbal, all Aftco rollers) rod is virtually perfect. There is a very slight paint scrape on the top guide… nothing more than you would get the first boat trip. 9.9 out of 10. No picture since it is at my office. Pictures on demand. Retail: $280 My Price: $110 plus $20 to ship. Sold and pictures deleted to lessen confusion.

    2. The second Star Handcrafted 30/80 (Power butt, metal gimbal that shows wear, Roller stripper and tip) rod has a few minor nicks in the fore grip. The white stuff in the reel seat is the paper label I never scrubbed off. 9 out of 10. Retail: $230 My Price $100 plus $20 to ship. Sold and pictures deleted to lessen confusion.

    3. The third Star Handcrafted SHC 30/80 (Stewart metal butt, metal gimbal that shows some wear, Roller striper and tip) is a little more complicated to describe. The logo where is says 30/80 is hand written in gold ink. This worried me since it had a whippier flex than the factory HC 30/80’s I already owned. I called the factory and sent them pictures of the rod. They told me that the rod was a prototype rod. I asked if the blank was really a 30/80 since it wasn’t as stiff a flex pattern as my other 30/80’s. They said it was and in fact the blank was probably stronger than the factory rods. The rod has a small scratch in the Stewart Aluminum butt and a few minor nicks in the fore grip. There is one small scratch on the blank. 8.5 out of 10. Retail: I don’t know $299 if it was a factory rod? My Price $100 plus $20 to ship.Still available but I will not go lower on the price.

    4. This Penn International Tuna Stick (2155 40/100) is an old fashion war club. It is in fully functional condition (in fact I used it to get a 350 to 400 pound tuna to the boat in 45 minutes this year). It has a metal removable Aftco butt and gimbal with a medium scratch and few other minor scratches. It has medium sized cut in the fore grip. The lamination is a bit discolored but solid above some of the wraps over the guides. The guides are very heavy duty round guides (not rollers). It is not beautiful (7 out of 10) but it is a fully functional tuna killer. Retail: Beats me? But the Aftco butt is worth $70 alone… My Price: $90 plus $20 to ship.Sold and pictures deleted to lessen confusion.
