This color combination in murky, gray, brown water is a hitter for Flounder, I myself have been making and using them for a few years with good catches everytime. The hooks i make these jigs with have a long shank so the hook is out from the jig head in the body for a quicker hook up. This is what makes these jigs help to catch many flounder. do they come with the trailers on them

Hello and Good Fishing, Im not sure what you mean by a trailer, but when i make these jigs i tie a longer back strip of orange fish hair. It kind of acts like a trailer of some sort and when jiged the fish will respond with strikes. If you would like i can extend the back strip out a couple more inches and you can just cut off the lenth you want. I have been making these for about 6 yrs. and the extra lenth seems to tease the Flounder, or Sea Bass to take the hit, plus these colors are bright in color and attract at a distance in darker waters and brakish waters. I also make these in 3oz,4oz also in 35 different color combinations and have customers, and myself cought a lot of big saltwater fish off this kind of long back hair jigs. I don,t make a regular jigs all these are custom jigs that have been tested to attract fish, by color and presintation.
