Has been trailer kept out of the weather in a 12’x30’ boat shed, washed and waxed regularly and still looks BRAND NEW!
Engine runs great + very fuel efficient, usually burning ~5 gallons during a typical all day trip. This is a very economical and low maintenance boat to own and operate.
Engine has 650 hours (Suzuki internal computer keeps track at 50 hour increments and flashes on tachometer at each startup) Annual services include change synthetic oil, oil filter, NGK spark plugs, fresh lower unit oil, and exterior wax on paint and decals. Water pump replaced in ‘04 and ‘06. Has stainless steel prop and power trim.
When this engine was built, Suzuki won the prestigious IMTEC Innovation Award two years in a row for its 40/50 and 60/70 four-strokes.
This is by far the quietest running outboard engine I’ve seen. The tell-tale water spray is louder at idle than the motor. AND powerful for its hp rating. Pushes this boat with 4 adults and gear at a respectable 30 mph by GPS.
Hull has USCG capacity rating of 18 persons and has guaranteed dry ride technology with splash guards where the waves meet the bow. It is built with glass over foam construction (no wood!) and has front and rear fiberglass decks and a removable center bench seat with tons of dry storage.
Side console rigged with: Multifunction Suzuki Tach, VHF Radio, AM-FM-CD player, Cuda 168 depth/fish finder, fuel gauge, hour meter, fire extinguisher, 2 power outlets, fused switch panel, anchor light pole clips, and stainless steel wheel with steering knob. Suzuki throttle box with thumb trim.
SS tunnel routes wires and cables safely between console and under rear deck. Wiring is pacer marine heavy 14-16 AWG jacketed 2 wire for years of reliable service. (Heavier AWG for main console feed and Batt cables) Wire connectors are adhesive shrink tube sealed. All fasteners are SS and sealed with 3M 5200 or 4000 depending on application.
8’ whip antenna, dual battery setup with selector switch, bilge pump, stainless steel fuel water separator, 16 gallon tank under rear deck. 6 cool red LED deck lights do not interfere with nighttime vision. Reliable LED red-green navigation light. Large SS bow cleat, SS tube and white plastic swim platform w. flip down boarding step. 8 rod holders front and back. 2 SS “D” transom eyes.
Galv. Load Rite trailer has plastic skid bunks and extra long guide poles. Very easy to launch and retrieve. Hubs are galvanized and have SS bearing buddies. Large transom straps and over the road engine trim cylinder saver included.
Also includes large galv. anchor with galv. chain and 100’ of line. Plus, throwable PFD, whistle, 3 flares, lightweight stern anchor, 3 hull plugs, and dock line.
Everything on this package works flawlessly and has been well cared for. I’m selling for no other reason than my purchase of a pilot house bay boat. Entire boat was waxed this spring with 3M wax, it's turn key, ready to go out. See pics.
The max hp rating for the boat is 150 hp, but if you look at the numbers and flat bottom, I can't see wasting the money for anything that big on a skiff. If the boat does 30 mph with a 70, it should do close to 50 with a 115 and the right prop (guessing).
