300 Suzuki main engine with a 9.9 kicker mounted on a heavy duty four stroke kicker bracket. The 300 is mounted on an articulating Porta Bracket jackplate. The engine controls are all electronic with two 4" gauges to display engine information. This allows you to watch a mechanical fuel gauge as well as a "totalizer" that uses the engine control module calculation of fuel burn.
I've got two 10” Garmin 3210 color chartplotters networked with radar, sounder, and XM weather.
She has two Ocean LED Amphibian A3 blue underwater lights.
I carry 212 gallons of fuel in two tanks (109, 103 gallons). With a full fishing load on an overnighter with a day of trolling I average 1.9nm roundtrip. I don't think I've ever burned more than 165 gallons, and my longest trip was this year at 365nm (double overnighter). She also carries 20 gallons of fresh water.
She has two 18 gallon livewells in the stern. She has 8 rod holders in the covering boards from stem to stern plus four in the leaning post and four in the t-top.
She has telephone booth style curtains.
The leaning post has a built in drink or bait cooler and copious tackle storage. There are 8 tackle drawers and a locker for slickers or bulk gear.
She has MinnKota TrollNTrim tabs with a position indicating control moduel and 24V trolling motors for chasing tarpon. I replaced the batteries with Group 27 AGM's this spring. She also has a 110V onboard charging system as well as a separate system that takes the lead from the main alternator and charges the trolling motor batteries while you're under way.
There are two fishboxes in deck in the cockpit and two deck lockers for storage next to the console. She has a sizeable anchor locker in the bow.
The motor has about 360 hours and was recently checked by a local Suzuki shop with no problems found. New water pump this year and valve clearances checked.
Tandem torsion axle aluminum trailer. Torsion axles, hubs, and all four brakes new in summer 2010.
Spare oil, filters, and all manuals will come packaged to ship with boat.
Check out my reports on http://www.texas-offshore.com/forums.html (hunter) and http://2coolfishing.com/ttmbforum/? (Hunter) to get feel for what I have done with this boat. We won the Port O’Connor Satellite Tagging Division of the Texas Tarpon Tournament in this boat last year, and lost the winning fish this year.
