load them with braid they will hold the same drag as a 50 if my memory serves me correctly.

You don't need 50's. I fish Rincon, PR every year and we hammer the Blue Marlin on Tiagra 30's with 30lb test. They have a couple big light tackle tournaments down there and my buddy gets chartered for them all. We go a couple days before each tournament to make sure the gear is working and to find some fish. Those Tiagra 30's the $h!t.
