After they are painted i clear and dry 5 times the bodys, so they really shine and this seals the plugs and puts a hard coat finish on. The hook hangers are thick Stainless Steel hangers and are strong, each hanger is fastened inside the body plug to be strong. The Spit rings are xx strong 3wind, stainless steel rings. Rated at about 350 lbs test. The body is a thick hard plastic with a molded in thick frount bill that will NOT breakoff when bouncing off rock ,coral, bottoms.
