1978 25 Mako... great boat.

just trying to put some feelers out, I'm going to be busy chartering the Henriques full time this year so I"m not sure if I will have time to use the Mako, so I'm just trying to see if I can sell it for a reasonable price.... if not then I will just keep it.

she is in absolutely great shape for her age no soft spots and solid transom.. I just replaced the motor because the previous one's VRO pump failed and seized the engine.. so the replacement motor's VRO is disconnected, you have to mix the oil as you fill the boat with gas.. no more VRO pump going bad and causing major engine failure.

hull is 1978 motor is 1996 Evenrude 225hp with aprox 400 hrs.. per previous owner. she runs great and she really stands tall for a 30 year old boat.
and her legendary ride speaks for itself.

New VHF with new antenna

also included in the price is a dual axle bunk trailer, brakes do not work but other wise the trailer is in good condition with 4 new tires.

Great Boats! l have an older 21 Mako and I am looking to move up. What is the cruise with the 225 hp? My buddy has the same hull with twin 175's and its a rocket. Also is the boat in Forked River in case we want to take a closer look?

she's not a fast boat, 25 kts cruise, 31-32 top end, but great ride. yes the boat is in Forked River.
