1988 Sea Ox with 05 Trailer and Twin 1998 130 Yamaha's Vehicle Description 1988 SEA OX Blue Water Pro, 27 ft, 2005 Tandem Axle Trailer, 1998 Twin Yamaha 130's This has been a fantastic fishing boat and was almost totally restored this year. Please read carefully, one engine needs work and is described below. Hull: 25CC Blue Water Pro with Armongstrong Bracket, Registered in SC at 27 ft. The Blue water pro is well known as one of the best hulls ever built. Most boats are built with 3 stringers, the Sea Ox has 5. It is heavy, solid, safe and a real beast in 5 foot seas. We ran the boat this summer to fish offshore with great success(longest trip out was 150 miles roundtrip) There has never been any hull work or repairs done. I almost completely remodeled her this year but due to my wifes going to grad school, I cannot afford to give her the attention that she needs. Was going to price her at 25K but due to needed engine work will sell for 20K. This is a great deal esp since it's almost all restored (see below) Boat has been detailed, comes with canvas bench that covers the entire transom. Cabin has about 5'5" head room and has a porta potty, sink and plenty of storage, Stereo, amp and speakers all in good working order, a live well, large fish box(we put 14 Dolphin in it with room for more on first trip out), Has gunnel mount lee outriggers and new rigging and bungees, 3 batteries, 2 battery switches and set up for a fourth battery if you want to add one, Bennett Trim tabs, Washdown, VHF radio, (flush mounted) and all the new gear below. New Items: As of March 2009 New Bilge, Washdown and sink pumps New Oil pumps and inline filters New spreader lights, LED gunnel and T-top lights, navigation lights New T-top Canvas: Sunbrella fabric New Auxillary outlet for appliances(spotlight) New Electronics: Garmon 4208 NMEA Network with XM Radio, Real time sattelite weather, Sonar, GPS (Can add Radar if you want) Garmin and TACHS were flushmounted on Starboard with security screws to prevent theft New Paint on Helm and Transom New stereo, Sony X-plod with ipod port New Bennett Trim Tab Switch New wiring of everything except engines, new Blue Seas Fuse box. New Caulk on Cabin windows and hatch, guard rails polished and protected, hull buffed nad polished to a nice shine. Engines: Servied in March of 2009. 1998 Yamaha 130 2 strokes Port engine suffered a failure on July after leaving the dock. Lost compression in one cylinder apparently due to a ring failure. Engine runs but will not run at high speeds and needs to have powerhead replaced. Approximate cost 2000.00 unless you can do it yourself. Powerhead has been removed. MY mechanic did find a company in FL that would replaia the entire head, pistons, rings, bearing etc. for 1900.00 with a 3 yr warranty. Will pass the info along to the buyer if interested. Starboard Engine: Runs like a scalded ape, Compression is good in all cylinders 135,135,130,132 Trailer: Tandem Axle Trailer with brakes purchased in 2005, tires have years of tred left on them, one tire hub was recently replaced becuase it was easier for me to due instead of repacking bearings. I will be happy to answer more questions. This will be a geat rig for years to come.
