2005 Twin Vee Weekender Power Catamaran 26 Vehicle Description Absolutely gorgeous 2005 Twin Vee Weekender with twin Yamaha 4 stroke 150 HP outboards , custom hardtop and front deck bimini as well as many other extras. I bought this boat recently from an insurance company. It had been tyed off on a buoy and left unattended, when a storm came it capsized the boat (almost impossible to do to a catamaran) It didnt sink but it was upside down for almost 24 hours before being righted. At that point the motors were flushed and pickled. I had hoped , since it didnt actually submerge that I might get really lucky with the motors and need very little to get her up and running again. After taking it to a Yamaha repair facility in San Diego, I find out that it will in fact need a bit more than I had hoped. I am getting an estimate around 7000 for two new powerheads. Even though the boat is well worth this moderate expenditure I find myself a little cash strapped at the moment and not able to spare the money to get her fixed. I could let her sit a while until I am able to get it done but will list her one time on ebay to give someone the opportunity to get her up and running sooner. As far as I can tell there is no damage whatsoever to the hull. There is one small nick in the hardtop that can be fixed by any fiberglass shop pretty easily. The electronics will probably have to be replaced but you were going to update to the newest stuff anyways right? I know I would have. The cabin has a queensize bed spot and room for a porta potty as well as lots of storage. The hardtop is amazing and reportedly cost over $12000 recently. It has many many rocket launchers and built in speakers in the hardtop., in fact the previous owner says he has receipts for almost $100k he has put into this boat. You may even have the connections or the ability to repair this yourself. If you need or want the trailer in the pictures, I will sell it to you cheap after the auction is over. This boat is being sold as is and where is but I can deliver most anywhere in the US for $1 per mile from San Diego.
