    Why waste time flying?

Walked out on the beach Saturday to check on my sand dunes and saw these in the water. After fishing last week and not finding any bait I see what the problem is. Instead of the pelicans flying around looking for pogies they just need to find a spot net and feast on whatever swims into it.

    Robja,

You reckon those few spot net's caught all the bait? Might have been those danged hungry pelican's! Frank

You are blaming your lack of bait on pelicans? Isn't that like blaming seals for the demise of Salmon?

But it is nice to see you posting pictures.

No the spot nets didn't catch all the bait. My point was why should the pelicans fly up and down the beach looking for pogies when they can just park next to all the spot nets and eat spots.
