Weather was nice and I decided to give it a try from the sod banks, even though I new the water was too cold. Thought I might get lucky or even get a hickory shad.

Had the outgoing tide in the afternoon, but the wind kicked up 25 mph plus which made casting difficult. Never got a strike or saw any fish or bait, but it sure felt good just to try.

I worked and covered a few miles of sod banks and creeks. With the super low tide I did get to scout out the structure, which will help when fishing at high tide.

Water in the creeks didn't feel too bad, but I just had to give it a try. Didn't see anyone else trying anywhere.
