    Dave,

We hunted Mike's Doe-Mart. It was a bit cold, but with layers and good company, it was pretty tolerable.

Sarah got her first with her new bow:

The post-mortem showed it through both lungs, the pulmonary artery, and the aorta. Brian is scared to ever piss her off.

She and Brian will be at Tiefest. Be sure to congratulate her.

Doesn't get better then a heart and lung shot.

Seems like a lot of work to get a bucktail for fly tying and they only come in white.

No worries Jake and crew. There will always be next year.

We'll have to make sure we get out fishing this summer.

Lee, I'll tell them you said hello.

How did the fest turn out? I couldn't make it. It is a long drive for me plus I had a Saturday doctors appointment in the middle of the day. From past years posts, it always looked like a great time, and getting bigger and better every year.

Pictures tell it all! Great shots and it looks like everyone was having a great time and that you had a good turn out. This time of year and with the nice weather it is easy to get excited about the up coming fishing season. Just getting together with a bunch of fly fishermen gets everyone pumped up. Thanks for the post.
