Hey Shortfin, hopefully someone who lives down here full time will chime in...
I am "newly" to the area and have done a little research on it. Boat wise they are still catching snook at night off the docks with live shrimp mostly.
On the flats and wade fishing they are still catching redfish and trout, I am told more in deeper holes and fishing slow with mirro-lures and Gulp mostly.
I am going to try and get out this afternoon for a little while, will let ya know what I find...or don't find..lol
The flats and area's around oyster bars are hot this time of year. Look for schools of Mullet and you'll likely find some schooling Redfish. Fish the grass flats in 3 to 4 feet for some nice Trout. Hot baits continued to be Gulp 3" Shrimp or top water if you are fishing first thing in the AM. I'd suggest using a ML rig with 10lb braid to cast a mile!
