You know, there is nothing harder than trying to decide wither or not to take the rod or the camera sometimes. Well maybe holding a rod, while polling the boat with a camera that has a huge lens and then shooting pictures all at the same time, but today I shot the camera most of the time and I/ we were rewarded with some goods shots to remember the day. A great day with a good friend, thanks Mike, for sharing this with me.
I am also one of the only people I know that will walk around in salt water with a $1500 camera, pictures are priceless!!

Why I have taken up fishing offshore? When I was commercial fishing for a living, I freshwater fished all the time. After getting out of the biz, I wouldn't go offshore for anything. Had customers that asked me to run their boats for offshore fishing, but just wouldn't do it. Guess I knew my weakness too well. After several years of being "ocean" free my wife said, you either get another boat or go back out there with a friend "cause you're driving me nut's"! Bought my 25 Downeaster and here we go again, full thottle. The ocean has got me again, guess it alway's has scince day one.
