    Surf Fishing report, Well Sorta

Supposedly the kingfish have been pretty good from the beach. No not the speed demons you good ole boy's catch. The northern kingfish that the NC boy's call sea mullet and use to catch big red drum off of Hatteras. So my buddy frank and I decided to give it a go on the beach in Stone Harbor NJ so we picked up some bloodworms and armed with hi lo rigs with mini circle hooks on we hit the beach.

Well lets just say we tried but unfortunately the fish did not co operate. But I am really digging my android and the app we have so please don't laugh but I threw together a few clips from the cell phone of what we saw today. One good thing moving forward is the fact that we saw mullet and bait moving getting ready for the fall run. So it won't be long before the Striped Bass run is in full swing.

So heres my first shot at a video from my android.

jaws, I also have no luck with embedded flash (like the youtube player) when using my android phone. I'm not sure if you understood Tim right, but what he meant is that he tested shooting video with his Motorola Droid phone - powered by Android

Great little video and it did a great job...

Sorry the fish weren't so interested but we call it fishing. Next time try a small Kale hook, think you will really like them...

Thanks Lee, Water Temps are dropping pretty quick and the finger Mullets are staging, So we should be hitting the beach pretty regularly chasing the Stripers and The bLues, Fresh Mullet and Clams should do the trick. I like the Droid just wish I could find a Hands free device for using it.
