Surf Combo

I received a Penn 550ssg Spinfisher and am thinking about combining it with my 10 foot Tsunami surf rod. I'm wondering if that's a good idea. I'm using 20lb. test, a fishfinder rig, 6.0 hook, and a 36inch leader. Sound about right? Appreaciate any ideas.

i have three tsunami surf rods and they are north worth the price tag even though it is not expensive.

my brother in law got a 10 fter from a flea market for 15 bucks and it is better.

i went with either ticas or lamiglass and they are the best.. need some meat and the tsunamis just do not have it for sloppin clams and bait!!

i got a really really sick conventional set up for sale if you would be interested!!

it is a 10'6" all star blank with cork grips and it has a penn 525 mag on it..

really awesome set up..

Sport, thanks for the offer, the combo I mentioned was a gift from my wife. I'm going with it if I want to stay married if you know what I mean. Any opinion on the line capacity of the Mag for 20lb. test compared to the 550SSg?
