The Lafayette Kayak Fishing Club is having a Spec-n-Redfish Tournament Saturday, June 19th. The fishing event begins at 5 a.m. and goes until 6 p.m. Addtional Overview: Participants can join up with your fellow anglers at the weigh-in and post-gathering for free beer donated by Pack & Paddle . This will be a "go-anywhere" tournament where you may fish anywhere along the coast. The weigh-in will be centrally located in Lafayette, LA at Pack & Paddle's storefront. This tournament will have 2 categories- speckled trout and redfish. Part of the challenge will be deciding at the weigh-in which category you want to enter. This is a Paddle Only event!
