South Carolina Help

Need some help with surf fishing Seabrook Island. It's just south of Kiawah Island.

Heading down over July 4th weekend.

What's biting, what tackle, etc.

Any info would be great. There is an inlet right there, probably try that.

I have 8' 15# setups, mirrodines, bucktails, spoons, etc. What else?

What's up bud-

I fished Edisto just south of there two weeks ago and all we caught was a few small sharks, some blues and a pile of whiting. Surf fishing with shrimp and finger mullet, two hook bottom rigs or fish-finder rigs.

I have a buddy in Hilton Head that says drum should be up on the flats by then... I hear anything else I'll let you know.

Time to hit Mac's again?

its been a few years since i lived and fished down there, but off botany bay and edinsville there is some decent surfishing..try a bottom rig with live or cut mullet or menhaden...you also may be able to pick up some good trout in the creeks...look for some flats just off the beach and if you have a big tide you can probably pick up some nice tailing reds
