I am not sure I understand what "seriously advanced" means...but if you think fishing is slow in VA right now...I think we use the words in different context. Welcome to SFC.

you're right, but the big boats did'nt rake the sea's, they raped the seas, its truly a sin when you think of our allmighty oceans are sparse with some fish, something needs to be done, now!

Are you shore bound and trying to catch flounder? If so you are not going to have much luck. Rudee is fishy as all get out at times but you need to be able to move around and find the fish so a small boat, kayak, or even a canoe is going to be needed. Lynnhaven Inlet is also a very nice and productive place to fish. Puppy Drum (redfish) abound in there at times.

You will find that the fish are here in va. but not as aggresive or as plentiful as in Florida so you will have to work harder for them. Keep plugging and make a visit to Lynnhaven and try there.
