SJCFA Fly Tying Saturday
It was a fun way to spend a cold and windy Saturday afternoon. The club fly tying day worked out well. We had Brad Buzzi (one of the tiers fromTie Fest) tying and showing us tricks of the trade.

As always Brad did a super job. He showed our members how to tie some big flies, crease flies and several others. We tied, had a lunch break with pizza and tied again after lunch.
Everyone who attended had a great time. Now we are all set for the warm weather and fish.

Very cool!
Tie Fest really got me going with a lot of tying. I've been hitting the vise a night or two a week. Gonna have a full fly box by the time the waters warm up.

I hear you Dave, I just got my boat back yesterday. They service, tuned, changed the water pump, zinks and painted the bottom. All I have to do is give it a couple of coats of wax and add water. (warmer water than what we have now) My marina doesn't open till April 1st so I have to wait.
I had to take a trip to Delaware today and it was 71 degrees there and I saw a couple of boats fishing for large mouth bass in a creek off the Delaware River, on my way back home in Jersey.
I have been making a lot of flies too for the season. Next best thing to fishing.

Our club invaded some sweet water last weekend, but I had to work. They tore up the panfish.
The weather today was great, but it's not time to get too excited yet. A few more weeks.
