Got to Harkers Island on Sunday and the weather was beautiful, but we woke up to thunder storms on Monday. Rained all day, but we toughed it out since we wanted to fish. Picked through a few small ones and only really had 1 keeper for the day. Weather made a turn for the worse, so we called it a day. Fished with Capt'n Brian Harrington Tuesday for a bottom fishing trip. Check out my post in WahooNBox section. Trip took its toll on us, so we slept in the next morning. Got to AB around 10Am and caught many small convicts, bass, oyster toads and even a few triggers. Moved to deeper water and I set the hook on a good one that I hoped would be a citation, but when we got a better look, he wound up only being about 5 1/2 lbs. Caught more later that afternoon and next day, but never got that big one I was hoping for. Still a lot of summer weekends left though. Below are a few pics of our best fish.
