Savannah Reds on the Flyrod

The Redfishing is on fire here in Savannah! Reds have stated their pattern of pushing on to the grass flats at high tide. This is what it is all about in the Low Country. Clients are getting 20-30 shots at redfish in the 25-35inch range. Low winds and sunny days make the fly fishing extaordinary. This sight fishery is unbelievable because we have NO angler presure here. People simply don't know about this kind of fishing. I will enjoy it while it lasts.

Hey CJ, yeah saw you carryin the long stick off the boat sunday from your trip. I don't wanna post any numbers about rates on the forum, I just don't think it is polite but I will work something out with you dude. Next time at the marina let's chat about it. I will show you some simple fly patterns as well that work here.

Thats cool buddy I understand. Yeah I wold like to get with you on some patterns, I have been playing around with tying my own and just dont know what to use or what to make the flies look like. Im sure that I will see you around at the dock soon and we can discuss things.

I had the fly rod hoping to stop a the J reef to try and catch some spade fish with a fly that gottaflylee posted a video on but we didnt get a chance to do it. Maybe next time though.
