Santa showed up a couple days early...

After my recent trip down to Lake Konawa Chilly day at school... it became clear that I needed to refin some of my tactic's. One of the things I learned from Shawn was the art of "slabbing," for Sand bass, Hybrids, and Stripers. He gave me the name of his slab maker, and I gave Steve at Luckys Lures a call and order up a dozen of assorted slabs. Steve is a "good ole country boy" and after placing my order, I inquired about the payment...his response, "shoot, don't worry about it, I'll get em painted up and sent out to ya...try em out and then pay me if you like them." Not something you expect to hear everyday, and true to his word, last night these shiny new slabs showed up at my doorstep. Keep in mind, I ordered 12, he sent 18 and the invoice charged for only 12. Attached was a nice note, "I sent you a few extra's, hope you like them, and if you happen to catch some fish with them, please post the pictures on my "face place thingie." Needless to say, I put the check in the mail last night, with a nice little Christmas bonus included. Now I have dealt with and know a few of the supporters of this site, and everyone I have dealth with has rendered service similar to what I received from Steve...BUT...in the real world, and with my day to day transactions, it's typically non-existant, so, it was very refreshing, and fitting to receive such great service during the holidays.
