I was thinking trout and reds and the occasional pond bass, an all around medium/medium-light rod.

Steve, it depends on what throw with it. 1/8 oz baits, top water, jigs, spinner baits, or something else. Mike makes 2 rods that will cover most of what you would want.

Where are the specs and pricing? I'm going to throw what the fish want, normally it's live bait or a chartreuse sparkle beetle under a cork. Maybe a all pearl skitterwalk for sow trout at the islands.

I been throwing a 7' medium heavy loki and I love it. Very light very.sensitive rod with good back bone for hook sets. You can feel everything , my other rods are star plasma and shimano cumaras and I reach for the riley everytime. Personally I like a stiff rod, but I'm chasing red most of the time.
