    Right Up Till Dark

Phone rang about 11:30 AM and Bglenn was on the other end..."want to go late this afternoon"? "Yep" I answered, "see ya about 4 this afternoon"

After a short ride for fuel and the ramp, we hit the river to see if we could find some Trout...Slow bite at first and as the sun went to set and the tide fall out, the pictures speak for the bite. Great fishing up till dark when we pulled the plug and headed home...

Thanks for the call today buddy, had a great time as always...

It's that time again, isn't it captain Lee?
I have fond memories of shaking off the winter blues in the protected waters of our river in early spring. That dark water warms up fast in the flats, making the specks and drums hungry. In a few weeks the flounders will start eating too. Spring time is definitely inshore slam time on the Cape Fear river!
    Thanks for the post!
