    Red Drum in Charleston,SC 10/1/09 (Pic's)

Long story short,,,I took the wife and a buddy of mine that works at Sea//Tow out fishing today.
I tried a few new spots and the last one we went to paid off.
We ended up with eight red drum, with the largest one at 40" long.
The fish were caught on menhaden and mullet.

I just moved to charleston today. I have some fishing gear down here. Any tips on how to get started or what bait shops to go to. I am on James Island. Any help would be well appreciated.

Yes Sir,,,,15"-23" at 3 per angler per day.

Turbo,,,go to Haddrells Point Tackle Shop (west ashley) behind Earth Fare food store on Foly rd and talk to Dee Oliver or Scott Hammond. Those guys know there stuff! You wont find a better tackle shop in Charleston!
Tell them Capt Rick sent you.
