It's basically a peanut bunker. Stripers, blues, Weakies, mahis.
I'd be suprised if there's much out there that wouldn't eat it. The circle hook changes the strip strike. You just hold the line in your hand as the fish turns and pull gently to set the hook.
Dave, Nice job with the video. It should make it easy for anyone to make some of those for the season. I have some of that material around. Sort of out of sight out of mind. May have to get some of it out and make a few. Again, nice job.
Hey bro,
I think it looks great ..music was a nice touch.
This is a great fly for our area. Very durable, easy to tie, and a good imitation... it is also hard to snag. It isn't "snagproof" but it will avoid them better than most

Dave, Great tie and video. This fly fishing section just keeps getting better! Its so much better when you get to see it made. Sorry Wave...Dave will have to write it down for you with his eyes closed. Big smile
Awesome fly. Looks real easy to make and seems like a great peanut bunker pattern. Thanks for doing the video. By the way Music and beer are always appreciated...one thing though...Heineken??, c'mon....
