Fished yesterday for an hour & today for 3 hours with All Day Ray.

Yesterday we had 8 Reds all on topwater & had another 10 blow ups. - no camera. Mostly slot Reds from 2 different schools.
Today we hooked 6 Reds all on topwater & had another 12 blow ups. At least 2 Reds were tournament winners.

At one point All Day Ray had three Reds fighting for his Rapala Skitterwalker & a fourth one muscle his way thru the crowd to take it. I couldn't help him because I was hooked up too with Mr. Puni-verse ( slot Red ).
MirrOlure Top Pup & Zara Spook worked best for me.
MirrOminnow & PropBait didn't produce.

Seen it all today! Tailing Reds, pushing Reds, feeding Reds & spooking Reds. You have to be like Elmer Fudd " So be vewy, vewy quiet! ". Think we spooked more fish today than we had all of last year.
Every time we find them & throw around them, we would either hook up or they would split.

The best sight was watching one determined Red, charging a fleeting topwater with his back out of the water, like a Polaris Sub. That was cool!

Capt. Lee ..... look what I caught yesterday, right side of the picture. Reminds me of your famous Maria jigging trip with Capt. Rick & Chris. Could not convince the Vietnamese client to double down.
