New shirt for the trip.

Mentally I am SO ready to get on the plane Tuesday, things are even more insane than normal in my life... A week in the Keys will do me some good. Waiting to hear if my fly rod has made it there already, trying to find some of the gear I've stashed just for playing with down there, and thinking about what else I'm going to pack. One less thing to think about, got my SFC T shirt in the mail today!! Postman was chatting with me as I open the package, said it's a good looking shirt. (I don't think he quite got the humor when I told him it''ll look better later this week when it gets some blood on it!! I'm thinking I might have some 'splainin' to do if he tells the local police of the "blind guy planning to get bloody" LOL) It was the smile I needed today!! (Ah, to hell with the rest of the day's honey do list, think I'll go put an hour on the tying bench before the war department gets home!)

The way I "see" this: If the wind is howling so bad that no boats can leave the dock, all the fish in the area decide to go on "spring break" at some fish resort, and the airline loses my luggage, AND I STILL don't have a good time... IT'S MY OEN DAMN FAULT!!! LOL (Though that might lead to having to post bail or somethng... LOL)

I just told my wife that if she gets a phone call while I'm away which is to inform her that I was in jail, not to worry, it's just a way to go fishing.... It sounds like furniture is being moved around upstairs and a pillow and blanket were thrown down them, something tells me she's not overjoyed with the plan! LOL

have fun. Hopefully when you get back we can get together. Another friend just order his first fly rod. It should just about be time to load the boat and chase some stripers. We can leagally target them inside the bay 1 May!

If you need bailing mention the fact that you are about to whip the Atlantic with a big stick , and that a international consortium of fellow whippers has worked out, with both the US Government and UK government that white and green perhaps some red streamers whipped into the Atlantic ocean at special times, (of your Choice) will stop all the ICE masses around the world from melting at the same time, leaving the young lady at the mouth of NY harbour, up to her bottom in cold water, or not
So go and lash the waters and save that young lady's bottom.
