Need help identifying bamboo fly rod

I was wondering if there is anyone here who could help me identify a fly rod? I have an Etco Westkill two piece 8 foot bamboo fly rod. Is anyone familiar with this brand? It belonged to my grandfather and nobody in the family knows anything about it (year, value, etc). Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know, but if it is a good one it is worth a lot of money. I would be afraid to use it. Hope someone can help you out. More than likely a freshwater rod.

Thanks for the response. I will definitely not be using it as it is mounted on the wall in my sports room!

It is certainly a catskill rod. Probably just under 100 years old. What kind of condition is it in? Any picutures? That would help with a better ID.

It seems to be in very good shape. I took two pictures. See what you think.

Silver paint is probably post WWII. Prior to that...it would have been black (india ink). Is there anything stamped in the reel set cap or rings? Fine wraps, nice straight lines to the strips, and high end componets...ie eyes..reel seat cork etc...are all good ways to see exactly what you have.
From those pictures it is hard for me to tell. I could put you in touch with a great guy named Wayne Grauer... bamboo is his life.. He could ID this easily..
