NC Red Drum...their running to the boat...

Sorry for a very short report but it is late and I have a very early call and a long day tomorrow...

I has a wonderful trip with Bob Johnson today. We got off to a shaky start with 2 misses on top water but the Drum were in the skinny water and wanting to play. Switching over to the white "thump bait" with a red tail, it was on but almost every one of them ran toward the boat and keeping them hooked was tuff but we pulled it off going 5 fish to the boat for 8 bites. Bob's smiles says it all...and yes Bob, there is something to this skinny water...

The first fish of the day...

    A little guy...

Tails you win...We caught this fish in such skinny water that he tried to run under the boat and ran into the side of it...

This was a cool fish to catch and was pulled out of a little creek busting bait...

The last fish of the day...

Had a great tme fishing with you today Bob... Sorry your son missed it...

Looks like the typical fun and productive Capt Lee trip. Consistency is the key.

    Love the tail shot.
