My pictures that have nothing to do with fishing...

As most of you know, I love shooting pictures, almost as much as I love fishing. Yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting pictures with a wonderful photographer friend on mine that loves to shoot pictures as much as I.

She and I shot over a 1000+ in a few hours of walking on the beach, the spoil islands and from the boat. Thought I would share some with you here that I shot. Hope you enjoy and remember that you don't have to post just fishing pictures here in the Shallow Water World.

Oh ya, a big shout out to Seatow Wrightsville Beach that got me off the hill after the wind slid my boat out of the channel as the tide fell out. If you don't have Seatow, you should have, thanks guys for making it a great day even better for us...

What a way to start the day...

Juvenile Loon in the sand dunes, young enough not to be able to fly...

    Deer and the Fox...

    Skate eggs...

Mother Goose on her nest in the salt marsh, she was sitting on a clutch of 6 eggs.

    Osprey love...

We were very close to these Osprey...

    Swan in the creek.

    Back to the beach...

Didn't see it till I downloaded the pictures, Tagged bird...

    Stopped in mid stride...

Digital cameras are an awesome invention. 1000+ shots - almost inconceivable in the film world. I think we are better for the digital camera - Thanks for sharing Capt Lee.

Thanks guys, glad your enjoying them. Fred I do know that me film bill looked like the national debt some weeks. I have shot 30+ rolls of 36 exp. some weeks in slid or print. There are still some things that digital won't capture like old old film, but my bank account likes it...now it's just burning some megabits...

For those that follow, or are friends on FB, this is just some of the picks from this shoot. I have done it in 3 parts, part 1 was put up yesterday and part 2 tonight, I will post part 3 tomorrow night as I am going to the air show to shoot planes. Never done that before so it should be interesting and a huge learning curve...

Lee, I went to it today only to get blown away. It was hard to stand up at times, much less walk. This was my first, cant go tomorrow due to spending time with
in-laws. I was able to use my food vouchers then came back home. I really wanted to see that F-16 in action, thats a bad boy. Looking forward to your pics, have fun!!

Great pics. Love to see motion stopped midstream.

I been trying to get my "Instamatic 110" to take pictures like those but that dang 200 speed film sucks when things are moving and it's hard to get the flash cubes anymore. I may have to step up and buy a new fangled digital camera.
