MirrOlure School
Once again, its getting time to go Speckle Trout fishing. Most of your larger Trout will come on MirrOlures. Spend 2 long days on the water, learning how to fish MirrOlures fishing and 1 evening of class learning about MirrOlures. I will take the mystery of what to use, when to use what and color for the water your on. We will cover the 52M (the old standard) 17& 27MR, Catch 2000 as well as the new L29MR crankbait and the Top Dog. Have all you questions answered and become better at catching Trout.
Classes are a minimum of 2 people and Maxim of 3. Cost is $400.00 each for 2 people or $300.00 each for 3 people. This price is for the class, not each day. This is a heck of a deal as you have a chance to catch trophy Trout for 2 days as you learn how to fish MirrOlures. School dates run from second week of October through November. This class will put you years ahead of your fishing buddies and get you catching bigger Trout consistently. The 52M ![]() 17MR ![]() Catch 2000 ![]() L29MR ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

First MirrOlure School of 09 is in the books...
Well even though the weather was less then cooperative with winds blowing 15 to 20 gusts to 20 and sideways rain, the guys had a great time and caught fish. Left to right, the 3 brothers, Mitch, Aaron and Terry... ![]() Monday was off to a late start do to the rain in the AM but in all the blow and rain, the guys landed about 14 to 16 fish, sorry that there are no pictures but talk to mother nature...you guys did great for what we had thrown at us. Tuesday morning was not all that good to start with but in the wind and fog, Terry brought the pig of the trip to the boat, right at 23"...congrats Terry... ![]() After this one, we found a bite for the rest of the day, not a bunch of big fish but 6 keepers from 16 & 1/2" to 23" along with a bunch of spikes, a Flounder, Croaker, Whiting and some Sand Perch. You guys did great for first time fishing MirrOlures and I give you all an "A" for the class. It was a great 2 & 1/2 days with 3 great guys, I had a blast with you all fellows, looking forward to when we do it again... ![]() The holding pen...live well full of spots... ![]() ![]() ![]() The keep...

The L29MR catches everything from Trout to King Mackeral and is just a wonderful lure. We do change out the hooks for the larger fish

Thanks Lee.
Just walked in the door from 2 days of Mirrolure school with Capt. Lee. Despite tough conditions on day 1, Lee put us on at least 40 trout just to show us the types of areas to fish and the techniques for using Mirrolures. The second day he took us to an area with some bigger fish and we caught several in the 2.5 to 3.5 lb. range before the weather changed and seemed to shut down the bite.
Based on what we learned this week, the trouts in Brunswick County better find somewhere to hide because I'm armed and dangerous now. If you want to learn the Mirrolure tricks, leave your grubs and live bait at home and go fish with a cool dude for a couple of days, it's worth the price of admission. Thanks again Capt. Lee. Scott |
