Thanks, I find myself reading and re-reading this thread. I havent caught any with them yet but am trying to pay attention to your ideas. I keep hearing you say, twitch, dont just retrieve. I am enjoying trying something new also. Not to interested in chunking a fish, or chumming a fish, I want ambush action. They are pretty lures. I think they mesmerize me as much as I hope they do the fish.

I thought you were the king of chumming!!! That is why you sold Hubris and only have a boat that can fit in your garage. Stick to back bay Old Man. We don't need you puking in our oceans anymore.

This is Ron from NC Sportsman. Have you fished at all this week with the cold? I am planning to try and go tomorrow. What is your thought on how the fishing will be in the creeks up around AB or would you head for the jetty? What are the water temps down your way. I know it is going to be very cold, but I am itching to give it a go with a box full of mirrolures!

I printed out the entire catalog for mirrolure, Im going to match it with your info and order some. I do like this thread, thanks so much. Fishing the back can be as exciting as offshore with the added bonus of a feeling of a hunt along with fishing.

Dark days darker colors, a 22, 18, 11 or 11FGO and the CFPR would be a good bet if the fish were on the bottom if the fish are supended, look at useing a Catch 2000 in the same colors.

Olesmokin, where are you located? Here in NC, almost every tackle store has them...

im located in mobile alabama, i have looked online and the names you list cant be found.....for instance the 52m 808...i google and cant find it anywhere...i went to bass pro and cant find it?

I don't know why as 808 is a standard everywhere and is an older color...
All I did for this was type in 808 mirrolure and this poped up...showing the 52m 11 and the 808
