About 10am the phone rings and my buddy Bglenn is on the other end. "You back in town". "Yep, got back Friday". "Want to go fishing about 3pm"..."Ya think, see ya at 3"
At 3:30, we get to the ramp looking to find a Striper. Up the river and pull into the first spot. My third cast the MR17, red back, chartreuse belly, gets thumped but doesn't come tight. We cast and work the bank hard but no love. We cast and cast and finely move to another spot with a lot of stumps and snags and we cast some more... with the light fading. Baron repositions the boat so were fishing with the current and bringing the baits more down the bank. Bingo, get the lightest bite and set the hook on this little guy.
With the light fading I snap some pictures of the pup checking out the Striper before we send it back home...A great afternoon with a good friend and I got to shoot a couple of pictures at the "magic hour"
Think he likes it...![]()
