Hi all, Have you ever Surf Fished a beach, that's said to be also good for whiting, but were unable to find them.
Well I know where they are, and you can pack up your surf rod.

When I was living in Western Australia, a couple of local children totally surprised me, by landing a huge quantity of good sized whiting in no time at all.
They were using 5 foot fishing rods with approximately 10 feet of line tide to the end, and using barb less hooks.
All the whiting in mass proportions are in a feeding frenzy in ankle deep water.
Bet a lot of people didn't know that?
